American Voices' John Ferguson performs and teaches at Cairo Conservatory
American Voices' John Ferguson performed and taught at the Cairo Conservatory from November 9 to 12 for a talented group of 25 of the Conservatory's advanced pianists. Daily lectures covered topics such as Ragtime composers, George Gershwin, the American 19th Century, Charles Ives and new trends in American music. American Voices is currently working on developing a summer academy program for young Egyptian musicians, dancers and actors for July 2009.
