Music Score Donations in Egypt
With the support of Alfred Publishers and the U.S. Embassy in Cairo, American Voices made music score donations to five institutions in Egypt: Bibliotheca Alexandrina, Alexandria Conservatory, Cairo Conservatory, American University of Cairo and Helwan University.The donations are part of American Voices worldwide effort of increase access to better music educational materials and a diversity of musical genres such as Broadway and Jazz in addition to the classics. Over 150 significant donations have been made since our founding in 1993.
At Helwan University the donation was accompanied by a lecture recital, Variations on America, by pianist and executive director, John Ferguson.
