On Septewmber 28th American Voices' jazz musicians will join together with Afghan traditional and pop musicians for a concert, recording, and DVD documentary entitled 'Jazz Bridges Afghanistan'. The concert will also honor the famed 'Afghan Elvis' of the 1970's, Ahmad Zahir. This project coordinated by the Foundation for Culture and Civil Society and the US Embassy Kabul.
