Havikoro Crew, U.S.A. - Street Dance

Havikoro is a group of street dancers that are dancers, natural comedians, actors, writers, entertainers, poets, rappers, designers and music producers.

HaviKoro has been active in the local community of Houston since 1999. Working with youth and adults, we teach workshops to promote higher values in life: achieving a higher education, living a drug free, non-violent and physically fit life.

Individually, our performance experience dates back to the early 1990’s where we grew up dancing on the street of Houston. HaviKoro has performed in schools, churches, theaters, competition events, nightclubs, prisons, juvenile correctional facilities, drug/rehab treatment centers, and other venues all across the United States. In 2005, they partnered with Houston’s Association of American Voices to perform in dozens of foreign countries ranging from Azerbaijan and Vietnam to Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and Argentina, as U.S. ‘Hiplomats’ representing the unique contribution of Hip Hop to American culture.

HaviKoro Outreach is the not for profit, educational wing of the dance company and operates with a mission to serve the underprivileged in the United States. HaviKoro Outreach focuses primarily on youth at-risk, offering positive messages via urban performance arts. They believe that because of their first-hand experience in dealing with life’s tough challenges and difficult choices, they can positively affect the lives of troubled youth through sharing their testimonies and talents.
