Biography

Dee Jay Two Bears is a filmmaker, artist and social activist bringing Native issues to light with dance, art, music, and film. During the Water Protector movement, Dee Jay was behind the scenes of the Rezpect Our Water campaign and had exclusive access to many of the driving forces behind the NO-DAPL movement, from the Standing Rock Youth who led the movement to LaDonna BraveBull Allard and Chairman David Archambault who guided the SRSN to ensure proper traditional protocol was maintained.

Dee Jay has worked with Mark Ruffalo, Shailene Woodley, Pharrell Williams, JR, Madonna, Brad PItt and many other talented artists to bring awareness to Native American culture.

Dee Jay’s short film “What Came Before”, co-directed with
Jon Boogz, is a powerful dance project which relates Indigenous Native American dance style with Hiphop.
