Adi “AQ Flow” Suranta

Adi Suranta Ketaren, aka AQ FLOW, was born in Medan, Indonesia, His sound mainly focuses on HipHop, Funk Breaks, & Trap. He began his music career in 2006 as a rapper and began producing hip hop music a year later. He is a founder of the Hip Hop NAD Syndicate, a collective based in Aceh, Indonesia. Adi went on to found yet another clique, 165 HipHop Nation, based in Medan, where he also helped establish the first beatboxing community of the region.

AQ Flow is dedicated to all aspects of teaching, organizing and performing, and has collaborated with artists from the United States and all across the ASEAN nations. He is an alumni of the 2015 YES Academy ASEAN, as well as the US State DepartmentAmerican Music Abroad (AMA) program’s 2019 AMA Academy Bangkok.
